For as long as she remembers, Emily has had a fondness for branding and design. With a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida, she began her career as a Marketing Coordinator at a to-the-trade showroom in Naples. It was there she met Tye, whose passion for the trade, interior designers, and the incredible brands that make up the industry solidified her (Emily’s) choice in career field.
As Marketing Coordinator (and later Marketing & Communications Manager), Emily developed the foundation of her furniture and interior design knowledge while serving designers and their firms. She focused on implementing marketing campaigns, events, and ad hoc projects that contributed to the company’s exponential growth. After nearly five years in marketing, Emily joined the publishing industry as Home & Design Magazine’s editor, leading the editorial team for the Southwest Florida and Suncoast editions. After two years and the birth of her son, Emily decided to step away from the publishing world and pursue an opportunity she had often dreamed of: join forces with Tye to create what they candidly referred to as the “empire.”
Emily is also a Southwest Florida local. Born and raised in historical Bonita Springs, she grew up in a small neighborhood on a street named after the Tangelo fruit — appropriate given the community was originally an orange grove. She looks forward to showing her children Parker and Charlotte the beautiful things Southwest Florida has to offer with her husband, Adam.
